Since time immemorial, women have been relegated to the background and because of this they have suffered from all kinds of prejudice and marginalization.

Driven by our stories and experiences growing up from vulnerable families and communities, we at HOBET are dedicated to supporting women and girls cope/deal with and overcome the devastating changing climate and the rising gender-based violence threatening their livelihood and survival on this planet.

We accomplish our mission through indigenous/scientific knowledge and experience sharing, counseling, psycho-social support, training, education, mentorship and enhancing access to resources/opportunities.
