Let’s touch shoulders with Pechuqui Laurata
Journalism and production of documentary aimed to raise awareness or educate the community about a problem is of great importance in our communities and Laurata finds passion in that. Pechuqui Laurata is a documentary filmmaker, journalist, Advocate against Gender Based Violence, peace journalists and development enthusiast. She holds a BSc in Communication and Development from the University of Bamenda. She volunteers with CBS Radio Bamenda and also runs a blog.

For more than half a decade, she has participated and facilitated workshops on Gender Based Violence both online and offline. She believes that GBV can be stopped if everyone is sensitized, engaged and held accountable.
She is part of a group that works towards producing documentary films and videos on the Sustainable Development Goals.
